Dr. Mark Coppenger
After receiving the Ph.D. in philosophy at Vanderbilt, Dr. Coppenger has taught philosophy, whether adjunct or full-time, at Vanderbilt, Wheaton, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Elmhurst, Trinity (IL), and now Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Though he has spent much of the last three decades in church and denominational work, Dr. Coppenger has waded, splashed, and swum in the river of philosophy right along.
Currently, Mr. Nuss is pursuing a PhD at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in evangelism and apologetics. His prospective dissertation research is in evangelistic issues related to the homosexual and Christian communities. Mr. Nuss has earned an undergraduate in Illustration and Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Ontario Canada. He is also writing and drawing a science fiction graphic novel called “The Silence” which uses the comic book genre to address philosophical, worldview, and religious issues. Mr. Nuss regularly posts new artwork, illustrations, and comic book pages on his website: www.thesilencecomics.com.
